Privacy Policy
This policy explains how DomiSearch collects and uses personal data. We take your privacy seriously and only collect what we need to respond to enquiries, deliver our services and run our website.
What we collect
- Information you submit via our contact form (name, email, company, message).
- Basic analytics data (pages visited, device type, referrer) via Vercel Analytics.
- Advertising and conversion data via the Meta Pixel, which sets third-party cookies and tells Meta which pages you viewed and which forms you submitted on this site. We use it to measure our advertising and to reach people who have visited us before.
- Information exchanged during client engagements, held securely in our internal systems.
How we use it
- To respond to enquiries and provide proposals.
- To deliver services contracted between us and our clients.
- To send marketing communications, including our weekly newsletter, to people who have previously enquired about our services.
- To improve our website and understand how visitors use it (in aggregate).
Lawful bases
- Legitimate interests — responding to enquiries, marketing our services to past enquirers, and understanding how visitors use our website.
- Contract — delivering the services agreed between us and our clients.
- Legal obligation — keeping records we are required by law to retain.
Marketing communications
We may send marketing emails, including a weekly newsletter, to people who have enquired about our services. We rely on the “soft opt-in” under PECR and on legitimate interests under UK GDPR as our lawful basis for this.
These emails contain AI Search industry news, case studies, and information about our services.
Every email includes an unsubscribe link. Opting out is free and takes effect promptly. You can also opt out at any time by emailing hi@domisearch.com and we will remove you from our marketing list.
Who we share it with
We use Resend to deliver contact-form emails and Vercel to host our site. These providers process limited data on our behalf under their own privacy terms. The Meta Pixel shares your browsing activity on this site with Meta Platforms Ireland, who use it for advertising measurement and targeting under their own terms. We do not sell personal data.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you can request a copy of any personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to our processing. Email hi@domisearch.com and we'll respond within 30 days.
Retention
We keep contact-form enquiries for 24 months, or longer if they lead to an ongoing client relationship. Client records are kept for as long as legally required.
